My maternal grandmother is going to be 100 years old in September. She is physically and intellectually strong. When she was in her late 30’s she had uterine cancer. When she was in her early 60’s she had colon cancer. When she was in her early 70’s she had breast cancer. Each time the prognosis was not the best.

Today Grandma enjoys life and has no immediate desire to
leave us!

God bless you.

I forgot to include in my earlier post: I pray that God will bless our loved friend Tony Snow with the same life, strength and endurance. May God also grace his family with strength and endurance.

Wow, God Bless your grandmother! My father was 42 when he was first diagnosed and died at 62, way too young.

I wish in the years in between he’d been told how to prevent further attacks if that would have been possible, i.e. through diet, etc.. He might not have trusted his doctors though since they said he would die that first year. But actually he wasn’t told he would die, they only told my mother..she, with four small children, carried that burden for 3 more years alone.

Again, God Bless your grandmother, what a strong woman indeed!
