However, since it’s highly possible that Webster Hubble was her father, then that’s why she looks like that. No amount of plastic surgery can help her. She just ain’t got anything to consider glamorous. I hate to be mean, but a side-by-side of Howdy Doody shows their similarities . . . Check it for yourself before you judge.
Maybe the gays thought she really was Webb Hubbell in drag.
Rush was talking about Chelsea and one of the staff put up a picture of a dog on the monitor. I think it was Clinton’s dog. Have no idea if it was planned or not. Rush laughed and said no, he wasn’t talking about Chelsea being a dog. He had more laughs about it the next day on the radio, and still kept saying it was a mistake and not intentional. Pretty much ticked off Bill and Hillary as you can expect, since Chelsea was just a little kid yet and didn’t deserve that if it was intentional.
As far as looking like Web, Chelsea actually looks exactly like her grandma (Bill’s momma).

Actually when Chelsea was about 13, and Rush had a TV show, he said something to effect that Socks was the White House cat, but that there was also a White House dog, and the monitor showed a picture of Chelsea. If you google you can find references to it. I'm sure some here remember it.
He didn't, and the explanations you've been given so far are not quite accurate. On his TV show after Clinton's electon, he was doing a bit on the differences that would be found in the Clinton White House from the Bush White House, pictures included in comparisons. One of them was to be "We go from cute dog in the White House to cute kid in the White House," the picture was to have been Millie, segued to Chelsea. Unfortunately for Rush, his usually-competent crew put the picture of Chelsea on the screen when he was saying "cute dog" and from that moment on, the left, FOB's, everyone who didn't see it but delighted in repeating the flub erroneously has claimed Rush to have called Chelsea a dog.
He explained the error in detail on the radio immediately the next day, and it was obvious to the viewer that it was unintentional on Rush's part, I believe the crew as well, as the picture of the dog was not the clear, sharp image that was used when he actually did say "go from cute dog in the White House" -- you could see a definite difference, though both photos were the same shot. If memory serves, the photos were side-by-side, though I may have that particular incorrect. But truly, watching that episode, it was obvious to me that a mistake had occurred.
