Laywers are fast, slick, articulate talkers. I just can't see Bush as a lawyer.
Well, some of them. My son-in-law isn't that slick talking, although my daughter can be. She was told midway through law school that she'd never pass the bar. It was like waving a red flag in front of a bull. She did pass the bar, and on the first attempt.
The lawyer who represented the state in the custody hearing for my wife's great nieces, wasn't too slick either. Nor was her nieces lawyer. The lawyer for the girls was decent. FWIW, we have permanent custody. But the niece's lawyer advised her to go along with that. In fact all the lawyers did. The judge, also a laywer of course, was somewhat akin to the south end of northbound horse. Or a female dog.
