With regard to the following, the United Church of Christ has ties to the Sabeel Ecuminical Liberation Theology Center, which refers to the creation of Israel (NOT the occupation of the West Bank and Gaza, the creation of Israel) as the Nakba or “catastrophe.”

I wish to amend my prior statement. My criticism of the good pastor for his failure to disengage from Marxist mindset should be in no way read as disapproving of “divestment.” In fact, I support divestment. We need to follow the Arab nations’ lead on divestment.
Like the Arab nations we should divest too. Divest as they have from Gaza. Arab Hamas has joined the Persian orbit for their murderous purposes, why not follow the Arabs lead?
