Thank you for your service. This American family loves and appreciates you. :)
That's a great idea. I do so much reading to catch up that I hardly ever get to post! LOL
Well, I won’t say that the GREAT state of Georgia is inferior, but I love Texas too!! (Can’t stand the heat, though. :)
You’ll starve to death!! :p
Well said MM & I thank you too SkyPilot.
Oh my gosh. What a nice thing to say. Don’t make me cry. You are so sweet.
I am not giving you platitudes. I mean it.
When I was gone flying to God know's where, it was my wife who held our family together. Our mortgage? Our investments? Our insurance?
Guess who handled all that?
Plus, when I came home from a war zone (and that sucks), she treated me with respect and compassion.
THAT is the kind of "marriage" these FLDS slaves cannot fathom.
This American family loves and appreciates you. :)
{PM is it too late to steal your line}
Sky, We love you too!
Roger. Good night.
I'd suggest that we just ignore him.
Carry on.
Also, I hope the confusion over the girl making the fake calls has been cleared up in everyone's mind....they are not saying she has been arrested for making the "Sarah" calls about the FLDS.
Have you ever heard the story of Brer Rabbit? lol
“So Mohammedans belong to a cult?”
Why, yes, of course they do.
Has there ever been any doubt about that, among Westerners who are unafraid to see Islam for what it is?
It is the most dangerous “cult” of all - one that threatens the entire Western World. But that’s really the subject for another thread.

Hey I am from a bitter, clingy place...so I would be proud to be an honorary Texan :)
*Said loftily*
You have my permission to spread my wisdom.
Heeheheehee
Thanks for taking the time to explain thoughtfully
Remember Sherman said that if he owned Hell and Texas, that he would rent out Texas and live in Hell.
The truth is I only meant the states that over the last 150 years or so let polygamy grow into being a cancer that we can only resist, but never eradicate, I wasn't addressing all 50 states.
This is the kind of thing that I meant:
"The Kingstons aren't in the news as much these days, but back in the late 90's the family definitely was. And Shurtleff now confirms that a year and a half ago, 80 warrants had been issued by the courts and that he was "gearing up" to serve them. Shurtleff said, "We considered going in a similar, swap type - I guess for lack of a better word - operation into a church meeting and bar the doors and start collecting evidence."
Shurtleff says the plan was to take dozens and dozens of DNA swabs from the Kingston family. According to the attorney general, the goal of this raid was to try and determine if any acts of incest had been committed.
But in the end, Shurtleff decided against a Texas-style raid. Although, in talking about it, it almost seems like Utah's Attorney General sometimes wonders...what if?
"We elected not to do that to try and work with their attorney. And, of course, the result of that was all our subjects disappeared, our targets disappeared and we didn't get the warrants served like we hoped to do," said Shurtleff."
I'm wondering how the State will be able to guarantee that the women won't disappear with the kids as soon as they get them back, into one of the other compounds where the kids will just be "cared for" by other women....or even if the moms stay in TX in the public, how it can be assumed the men won't still have control over them?
I think it's time for the Salt Lake LDS church to step up and do some of that famous charitable work we hear so much about, by taking these women and children in and caring for them. They alone would come closer to the culture and it wouldn't be so much of a shock for the kids. And when they turn 19, the kids can go on missions.
I have a childless LDS niece who I’m sure would love one or more of these children, and they would only be about an hour drive from the Colorado City compound, and raised in a similar but less restrictive environment.
