Great article by David Feherty, he and other golf people went to Iraq.
Skip Bayless was saying that Tiger runs a lot. He had better get on the elliptical machine and stop running, walking down hills on the golf course has become very painful on my knees.
You actually think that their kids will only hear cuss words from Tiger? Check out the hallways of schools from gradeschool on up or any playground in existance. Sporting events? I've heard kids on baseball fields, soccer fields, football fields and hockey rinks use every cuss word in the book.
And you know what? They're getting it from their own parents and other adults.............Don't blame Tiger
Uh, high end digital cameras are of the SLR (Single Lens Reflex) design that has a mirror in it that flips up and ( I think) also has a focal plane shutter before the light reaches the CCD sensors. My Nikon D70s has this shutter system.
I have been following Tiger since 1991. I’ve seen him play in person at least a half dozen times. Followed him for entire rounds and he’s NEVER cussed at a fan. He becomes VERY annoyed at himself for making mistakes. That is it.
I didn’t say SLR cameras have gone out of Business.
He doesn’t curse a fan or photographer by saying FU directly. He first SCOLDS them for making the noise and messing him up. He intimidates them. Then when he walks away, he curses.
Only recently even ESPN was take aback at his language. They had him next day, so he can explain. He didn’t issue any apology and looked even more arrogant.
How come Phil Mickelson and Vijay Singh don’t have these tirades? And even if they are calm, how come we don’t ever see them after a messed up tee shot, walking to the gallery and scream at them? Everyone is quiet while they are taking their shots, but when Woods is out there, everyone is trying to sabotage him?
Its simple. Woods thinks he is big enough now to act like an obnoxious jerk and he knows no one would say anything. No one wants to be called Fuzzy Zealor. It has gone too far and if he doesn’t calm down, expect a big controversey to erupt soon.
Tiger is a sad disgrace to golf in the way he talks and carries on, imo. Character goes further in my book than skill.
So when will you let them out of the house? At 21? LOL!
