i despise pelosi,but that doesn’t mean shes never correct. when the chinese talk about the “people”,they are referring to the ruling communist body,not as they prefer people to think,the general populace. As things stand today,we cannot tell what the population believes. What would the American consensus be if we occupied Bermuda,off the eastern seaboard in our lifetimes? would we be embarassed? ashamed? The chinese citizens that are aware of the Tibetan resistance probably feel much as we would.
There’s only ONE issue that Pelosi and true conservatives have in common—Red China. While her issue with the Little Red Devils has always been “human rights abuses” and for conservatives it’s the Red military build-up and threat to the U.S. via their money devaluation and high tech spying and organ “harvesting” by killing political prisoners, Pelosi’s the ultimate hypocrite. Did anyone see her standing on the street corners of SF waving anti-Red Chinese signs or opposing MFN status? No! She hasn’t opposed doing business with the Commie bastards.
For real conservatives who live according to their beliefs, putting lipstick on a pig is still a pig. You don’t do business with someone who’s trying to kill and destroy you! You try as best you can not to buy goods made in Red China. You vote to keep the influx of Red Chinese into the U.S. on H-1B and H-2B visas in check. You charge and convict their spies to the highest extent of the law (ideally, the death penalty). Does Pelosi do any of this? Nope. While she may not be as pro-Red China as her buddies DiFi and Barbara “the Bagel” Boxer, she’s certainly not “a conservative” or a patriot when it comes to sucking up to the Little Red Devils. They may “hate” her in Red China, but they don’t fear her.
