Well apparently, he and the famous economists must have a crystal ball since we won’t really know if we’re in one until the end of the 2nd quarter of this year.

Would be wiser to see at LEAST one quarter of negative growth before proclaiming a recession...and even then it may very well not be true.

It is pretty clear that we are in a recession. He is just stating the obvious.

However, his comments about “greedy Wall Street” sound like those of a Marxist.

I agree, but it's all predictions. No one knows for sure... It's defined as 2 quarters of negative growth, we haven't had one yet... He shouldn't be in the business of jumping on the doom-and-gloom bandwagon... Sure, things have slowed, but inflation's in check, unemployment is very low, interest rates are low, and retail sales came in the positive territory.

I don't call him a dolt based on this comment alone. I do it based on his amazing ability to try and out-lib the libs...

He's a disgrace, and I've almost reached the tipping point, where I really don't care of he wins or loses.

Doesn't matter who agrees with him. If the USA has not had two consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth then we are not in a recession. It's that simple. And here in Texas we are nowhere near a recession.
