For acting out a fantasy, their lifes are ruined.
Their lives are ruined only if they allow them to be. They have a good start, now is the time to change course.
Don’t think Florida would give them opportunity to change course. Probably going to get 10+ years each if not more. Kidnapping qualifies for Death Penalty. Once in the “Corrections” system, I can’t imagine it having any positive impact on their lives.
