A 24-year-old man held a gun ....

This may be his first crime with a firearm. While liberals believe in giving those from "disadvantaged backgrounds" one more chance ... or two more ... or twenty-seven more ... I'll pray that they see this as a gun crime. Maybe he'll get longer than his average prison time for this one.

Math teacher comment: This is at least his 28th (adult?) arrest, more if the press ignored "youthful indiscressions" as a juvenile. At age 24, he has had less than seven years to commit enough adult crimes to be caught 28 times, and come out of the "Justice System" on the other side in time for another arrest. In other words, he's got a cycle time under three months to go through the system - including his average stay in prison. Even if the arrests go back to his birth, he's averaged one arrest every 10 months since he was in diapers. I just wish I could feel confident that he'll do more than 10 months for armed robbery, rape, and (most serious to a Democrat) using a firearm in the commission of a crime.

I’m surprised someone hasn’t busted out that he made a “mistake”. That seems to be the new excuse for bad behavior.

I remember someone saying that Mike Vick shouldn’t go to prison for a “mistake”. I asked “Do you mean he accidentally raised and fought pit bulls?”
