Terri Schiavo, who died in 2005 after being taken off water and food at her husband’s request, received electrode implants but they were not successful, according to The Inquirer.
Oh really? That’s not what Michael Schiavo said.
The brain stimulator implant was a success,
said her husband, Mike.

Terri was improving before her treatment was criminally halted by Michael Schiavo.
What was the evaluation 4 years later?
I don't know why so many people wallow in the misery of this poor woman's condition when the real question is: Regardless of her condition, whether improved or not, does an ex husband and a moron judge have the moral right to deny her family their request to care for her.
That is the question because regardless of her condition, which could have been much better or much worse as some other poor soul will surely be now or in the future, it needs to be possible for that person to be cared for by whomever desires to do so, whether a family member or anyone else.
Denying life to a person, regardless of how well or miserable they might be, for the convenience of some, against the wishes of others, is not defensible ethically, morally, religiously or in any other manner, especially when others are anxious and willing to care for that person.

Mediplex had a Terri Schiavo Day because Terri made such excellent progress at rehab. Mediplex is in Bradenton, Florida. Shortly thereafter, Michael Schiavo cut off ALL REHABILITATION for Terri and subsequently was consorting with JODI CENTONZE, an insurance underwriter that he met at the dentist.
