My youngest son MIKE who played in the trees all the time while growing up, just went for back Xrays THIS WEEK, and at the age of 24, found out that when he fell out of a tree 12 years ago and landed on his butt, he cracked some vertebrae.
He now suffers from pain, Faucet’s syndrome, & Spondylolysis = It is typically caused by stress fracture of the bone, and is associated with certain activities, such as weight lifting and gymnastics. It has been proposed that the pars interarticularis is especially vulnerable when the spine is in an extended position, and a force suddenly presses the vertebrae together, such as when landing on ones feet after a hop. This pressure acts like a nutcracker on the pars interarticularis and can fracture it in susceptible individuals.
So she may be doing the kids a favor by getting them down SAFELY from the tree!
If the kids fell out of the tree and broke their necks, I suppose the kids mother would sue Sliwinski, who would be judged by a black jury.
