Although this is an older article, I didn't see it posted and thought many might like to read it. I recommend the book mentioned in the article, C.S. Lewis's "Mere Christianity" to anyone with an open mind.

Excellent article! Collins’ book, The Language of God, sounds like it’ll be a fascinating read when it comes out in September.

However Galileo was famously questioned by the inquisition and put on trial in 1633 for the “heresy” of claiming that the earth moved around the sun.

What's with the "however"?
