The only reason it is even a question is we are sweethearts and patsies. If we drove bargains half as hard as the oil producers, instead of giving away food free to anyone who really needs it, then the world would pay for all our imports and to spare, or it would flat out starve.

We aren't that powerful when it comes to food exports, but Fur Shur we export the grain that keeps 'em from starving.

Come the next big round of famines (as the climate cools and dries) we definitely need to push the issue of "Franken food" ~ and that is that they either buy it or simply starve!
