As long as they believe garbage like that, all their attempts to be accepted as a “mainstream” church will fail.
Which is a good thing. Believing that polygamy is moral and good is straight out of the pits of hell.
There is a "ick" factor there that should turn everyone who is truly searching for the truth away from the LDS Church. However, it is the kind of doctrine which would appeal to those whose desire is not to bow down and worship the Only True and Living God forever but to those whose heart's desire is to become God and have countless people bow down to them and forever call them "Heavenly Father".
I hope this thread opens the eyes of those who are ignorantly being proseletyzed by the LDS Church. If there ever was a doctrine of demons it is expressed in black and white in Doctrine and Covenants section 132. It is a genuinely creepy revelation.
