prosecutorial discretion....where is it?....all charges should be dropped with the agreement that no civil lawsuits be brought either way, and those people should be forced to sit down with joint counseling of some sort.....public apologies would be nice...

All charges should be dropped? I'll bet the little bitches parents say the same thing.

She went off on a person who is responsible for everyones safety. She should be punished, AND permanently kicked off the bus. Her parents can take her to school or she can walk.

The prosecutor was right to charge this girl and not the bus driver. The bus driver was just doing her job. If she had let the girl off anywhere but school or home, the bus driver could have been sued, fired, disciplined, etc... The girl had no respect for authority or her fellow students.
I work in a high school and some of the students (a small minority) have no respect for anyone or anything. They think rules are stupid and don’t apply to them. And if you try to make them folow the rules, they call their parents- just like this girl did- and the parents start yelling that you can’t make their child do anything they don’t want to.

It all begins in the home.
