OBAMA'S BOUNCE-BACK NOW A MERE FIVE POINTS DOWN IN PA.

April 2, 2008 -- WASHINGTON - Barack Obama has cut deeply into Hillary Rodham Clinton's lead in Pennsylvania, coming to within 5 percentage points in a new poll as the two rivals fought toe-to-toe over the same turf yesterday.

Sen. Clinton leads Sen. Obama by 47-42 percent in a new Rasmussen Reports survey. Just a week ago, Clinton was up 10 percentage points, and in early March she was ahead by 15.

"If Obama is able to pull off an upset in the Keystone State, it would effectively end the race for the Democratic nomination," wrote Scott Rasmussen in an analysis of the poll.

Clinton has been slipping over the past 10 days since her story that she came under sniper fire during a visit to Bosnia in 1996 was debunked.

Her admission that the story was false has received huge play in the media and she has come under heavy attack from the Obama campaign and other critics who say it calls her whole record of accomplishment into question.

With the number of Republicans voting as Democrats...the entire “poll” game that everyone thinks is fairly stable...IS NOT. I think Hillary will take the state by at least twelve percent. Some folks are thinking a huge number of Republicans to switch over and vote for Hillary...and reliable poll sampling simply doesn’t exist to understand a situation like this.

Omama is not pro-life, he also promotes complete gun control.

The people of PA are a majority pro-life and, support free gun rights.

Should be an interesting election since he cannot say what he believes.

Somewhere in the last few days Rove was quoted as saying that it would be better for McCain if Obama won quickly for 2 reasons:

1) Clinton has been unwilling to criticize Obama from the right.

2) If it goes to the convention, then once it’s decided there will be the biggest love fest in history.

He doesn’ need to win PA. All he has to do is avoid losing by net 300,000 or 400,000 votes. If he can even manage to lose like he did in Texas, he would again almost tie for delegates and will ensure that his Popular vote lead holds.

Popular Vote Count is the KEY in Keystone State. That is also KEY to Hildabeast’s case for nomination. She would argue Momentum, Electoral Votes, and Big States and Obama’s damaged reputation (which she herself damaged) making him un-electable.

However, if Obama HOLDS his lead in Popular Vote, she would have absolutely NO CASE left other than going through the motions.

LONG TIME AGO I posted that Obama’s FINAL Chance (assuming MI and FL are NOT do-overs) to bury Hildabeast would be in INDIANA.

If he carries Indiana and North Carolina, game is officially over for Hildabeast. Puerto Rico is not the one that is going to determine nominee of Dem Party.

If Obama can keep it withing 4% in PA on Election day, then he has GREAT change to SQUEEZE out a Popular Vote Win in Indiana.

I hope Obama does our dirty work and stick a stake in her campaign finally.

I say end it in PA. I want her to lose by 10 points. I want to end the Clinton era for good and the sooner the better.

I can’t believe some dummies want to support her. Rush is urging decent Republicans to vote for her ick! Why not send her campaign a few bucks too?!!

I’m not sure about #1, but I believe #2. To all who think the democrats will be disjointed are naive.

The people of PA are a majority pro-life

How serious a pro-lifer can any PA democrat be?

The Supreme Court is on the verge of overturning Roe v Wade and yet "pro-life" Casey is supporting Obama, who would surely destroy this opportunity. Come on!!!

The Clintons need to be run out of town now. Rush is a boob. We can finish off our arch enemies now and Obama will be easy in the GE.

Crissy Matthews said that his polling history was that he did well on weekends and not during the week-—(or vice versa?)-—and therefore Crissy thought Obama had peaked in PA.

Obama is still more dangerous than Hillary. He will get nothing but soft ball questions..adoring crowds..more appearances on the view. Swim suit photos..the msm will go all out to get this guy elected.
McCain will look like a bumbling old man in the debates. He will get all the tough questions..did you really try to be VP to Kerry? They will publish every picture with him looking old, weak, angry,,etc.
The Keating five will be reviewed..every day. 100 year war will be heard everyday..
We need to get rid of Osbama before the general election..

I saw Obama yo mama last night on Hardball.

Some college kid asked him what he thought of gay marriage.

“I’m against gay marriage,” he said. “BUT,” he said immediately after lest his being against gay marriage sink in, something the way vast majority of folks, black AND white are against because, heh, only about 2% of the population is gay, “I do think we need to shore up or create strong civil union laws.”

I had to smile at how cleverly Obama yo mama did his best to be on both sides of the issues.

Then he continued on and I really had to smile. I paraphrase: “I think that STATES have to strengthen their civil union laws to insure that access of same-sex couples to hospital rooms or the passing on of assets are guaranteed to every couple in America, no matter their sexual orientation.”

That sentence, of course, gets Barack on record in favor of that pesky Defense of Marriage Act as most Americans, black AND white are in favor of this. Which means that just because they let George and Bill get legally married in Massachusetts that the state of Montana has to recognize the marriage.

Obama yo mama was too clever by half. Which hey, the guy’s a politician. But I honestly wonder if his voters even catch this guy’s slip of the tongue.

He said exactly the same thing Rush Limbaugh might have said is what I’m saying here.
