Cede our electoral process to 30-40m socialist Mexicans, a probable voting bloc second only to (or even rivaling) the Christian Right.
Cede our sovereignty, and therefore power, on the seven seas to the UN. Not only does that remove our power to project, but it also removes fishing, mineral, oil, and gas rights outside the coastal waters of the US- ceding them to the UN.
Cede the authority of our military courts, not to mention the possibility of our civil courts, to the gentle ministrations of the World Court.
Cede our industrial might by way of cap & trade carbon credits.
