No offense but isn't McCain the Manchurian Candidate? After all he really completely fits the profile of the character in the movie. He really was held and tortured by Communists for 5 years, not Obama. Obama is a straight up Communist/Socialist, McCain is the question mark.

Emails are simply deleted by the staff unless you have the super secret, password protected URL.
Phone calls to a Senator, or Representative are not accepted by same... again, the staff intercepts and takes a message... which rarely are passed on... Same with faxes.
Unless you have a highly paid Lobbyist, with some campaign funds in their pocket, your message will rarely, if ever, be presented to, or even seen by our Masters is D.C...

yes exactly! We eliminated Washington’s and Lincoln’s birthdays as separate observances, for an expedient and generic “President’s Day”...
Then we allowed February to be named “Black History Month”, thus overshadowing/crowding out “President’s Day” to the point where it is essentially a footnote among the mainstream, anathema to “dead-white guy” - hating Liberals, and celebrated only among real patriots.
And finally we allowed the lionizing of a single black man’s birthday in January, a person who was known to have been violent with, and philandered on his wife.
I don’t mind a black man having his birthday observed as a holiday - but let it be a more worthy figure such as George Washington Carver, or Frederick Douglass, and for heaven’s sake, restore to Lincoln and Washington their own observance days.
As for Chavez - he is a non-starter.
I would no more observe a holiday for him than I would for Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez, Mexican Gen. Santa Ana (of Alamo infamy) or either one of the Castro brothers. One makes as little sense as any of the others.

I love the way Texas “honors” Chavez. It’s an official optional state holiday. What that means is that all state offices are open and all services are available. If you, as a state worker, want Cesar Chavez day off then fine - the state won’t make you work that say. But it will make you take a day of vacation.
Work that say = work that day, oy vey!
Chavez hated “wetbacks” and ran them off to protect jobs for American farm workers. B Hussein probably doesn’t have a clue is my guess.
What’s wrong with that day in September we call “Labor Day?”
