EL PASO, Texas -- It's hard to forget the story of Terri Schiavo, a brain-damaged Florida woman without a plan for her medical care. As a result, a judge made the decision to either keep her on feeding tubes or pull the tubes and let her die.
"Families go through some agonizing times trying to know what their loved ones want if they haven't had that conversation ahead of time," said Connie Crawford, an Assistant County Attorney.
So the County Attorney's Office along with Thomason Hospital have teamed up to spread the word about letting your family know what you want to do in the worst of situations.......

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--A new national survey indicates that Americans are more likely to talk with their children about drug use or sex than with a seriously ill parent about their end-of-life wishes.
