Congrats. This is the most ignorant vanity I’ve seen all week.
And by the way, I’m still not voting for McCFR.

You are working awfully long and hard for McCain. Don't worry I will stand behind my words if the time comes. Hope you will admit your support for McCain when he begins to further trash the Bill of Rights. You can worry about ragheads and camel jockeys all you want, I'll spend my time worrying about the enemy within, which is a far greater danger.
To: Mr. Silverback
I said I rejected him based on him. The "I don't want to lose my soul, roll tape" press conference in Iowa would have been enough by itself. Don't know about you, MS, but I can see how people who view their "conservatism" in terms firstly of self-centeredness and of their money would be concerned about a truer moral candidate who seeks to preserve America's true principles and priorities.

Hmmm...no answers to the questions, huh? I think we know why, because you've got nothing.
You are working awfully long and hard for McCain.
Wrong answer, sparky. I'm working long and hard for America because we need a real Commander-in-Chief, not some newbie getting on the job training or some pocketa-pocketa-pocketa fantasy figure. I'm also working for conservatism, because I am not willing to have it redefined by poltroons like you as "that political philosophy that sees an Obama presidency as a good outcome for America."

Well, I can see that too, but as usual there are some minor problems with your post.
First, I'm not one of the people you're talking about. I am a real conservative and I'm not a conservative for selfish reasons.
Second, Mike Huckabee is not a conservative.
Third, he is not a moral candidate.
Fourth, he does not seek to preserve America's true principles and priorities. Nationwide smoking bans and tax plans that result in everyone getting a monthly check from the gubmint sugar daddy are not part of American principles and they sure aren't a priority.
Other than that, your post was 100% true.

I find the whole ides of the revolt against McCain so that we can have the "principled" outcome of an Obama presidency to be very Walter Mittyish. It's a fantasy and it depends on one's vision of oneself being so brave, so important and so much better than the other schlubs that this "principled" decision means more than making sure we have a competent Commander-in-Chief for the next four years. It's this whole "I'm gonna stick it to the man" idea that it's more important to hate McCain and give the finger to the RNC than it is to stop the blithering racist idiot reaching for the wheel of the ship of state.
In fact, I'm being pretty hard on Walter Mitty by saying it. His fantasies never hurt anybody.

I dont agree with how you twist things. Oh, really?
Either you're in favor of an Obama presidency in the name of ideological purity or you're not. No twisting about it.

Your mind is stuck in the sand. Your questions aren't questions, they are shallow minded blather. I said before your stooge McCain will likely win the election without the support of conservatives. There are more than enough half-wits, derelicts, and democrats to get him elected. For crying out loud think about the Constitution of the United States and the principles this country was founded on! Many of us are searching for a way in which a George Washington can emerge from the political ocean while you are trying to tread water in a swirling, descending pool of sewage.

Insulting other FR posters who like or support Johnny by using profanity Johnny?
You call him Johnny?
Isn't that just precious.

“We have not been hit at home since 2001.
If you believe that, have I got a deal for you! A BRIDGE you can call your very own... runs from the city of San Francisco to the Marin headlands.
Or do you REALLY think the FBI is telling the truth every time it says, “Hey, no terrorism here. Move along now” when something happens... EVEN BEFORE THEY GET ON SCENE in most cases. But you keep your head in the sand and just leave it all to FedGov. I’m sure they won’t steal ALL our freedom just so you can have the ILLUSION of security.
Because keeping our Bill of Rights intact and restoring our Constitution to its rightful place is, in fact, THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE we have facing us. There is NO issue more important than that. And ESPECIALLY now when so many of YOU are so willing to trade MY freedom for YOUR pretense of security. But, hey, maybe YOUR chains will rest really lightly!
