He wouldn’t stand for Clinton’s scandalour shenanigans from his players.

From the article:

He said he felt that perhaps he should welcome Clinton out of respect for his status as a former president.

He was right the first time. If he really couldn't bear to greet him, he should have had a diplomatic illness and NOT GIVEN THE INTERVIEW. Talk about no class.

I wouldn’t walk across the street to see either Clintoon.

In fact, I’d probably turn around and walk away.

In fact, brother Hugh Rodham, a 1972 graduate, was a backup quarterback under Paterno.

Now, there's a name from the past...

Wasn't Hugh Rodham involved in some sort of White House related scandal? Selling pardons at the end of the Clinton Reign or Terror? Or was it some sort of drug thing? Or maybe that was Roger Clinton...

Hell, I can't keep all this white trash straight.

450lb fat, bloated lump of lard, “Huge Rotten” was a back-up, back-stop for the baseball team.

There; fixed that.

Oh, yeah... here it is!

Hillary Rodham Clinton's jowly brother Hugh faced a nation of raised eyebrows Thursday for his part in two successful pardon pleas. The sartorially impaired sometime golfing partner of the ex-president is taking heat for pocketing $400,000 in legal fees after two of his clients, Carlos Vignali Jr. and Almon Glenn Braswell, were granted last-minute pardons. Hugh's salad days were short; Bill and Hillary demanded that he return the cash, and he obliged quickly.

I don't do links, but you can cut paste below to remind yourself of all sorts of little Huey vignets:

Excuse me, but was he even asked to greet him? Despite that coaches think it’s all about them, he isn’t the president of the university nor was he one of the one’s who sent Clinton the invitation. Who cares if he shook Clinton’s hand or not. Sounds like his ego just couldn’t pass up getting his name in the paper. I didn’t see that the lunchroom lady was interviewed on the subject.

We are a republic

We don’t have kings

Respect or not —the president is a servant of the people not vice versa

Respect for the office is BS

NO FREE CITIZEN is obligated to meet anybody

Well Joe Paterno is certainly no Bruce Pearl! (Tenn. men's basketball)

It certainly is refreshing to see someone that young people can pattern their lives after. Go Joe!

I wouldn't have to think long and hard before declining to meet clintbilly.

I walked 2 blocks out of my way to avoid him when he was running for POTUS the first time.
