Dead Heat by Joel Rosenberg.
AHHHHH, I’m breathlessly awaiting my copy. Since it isn’t here yet I’m going to read the preceding books in the series (again) for the 4th time. I’m also in the middle of Peggy Noonans very old book “what I learned at the Revolution” I know that she isn’t very popular here but “When Character was King” was an eloquent, beatiful tribute to the Regan years and made me want to be a fan forever.

I’m liking it so far. I had a hard time finding the Copper Scroll and just finished that couple of weeks ago.
I’ve been reading Dead Heat before I go to sleep. I’ve been staying up too late reading this week!

I completed Joel Rosenberg's Dead Heat this morning. It's the best page-turner in the series so-far, if not the best writing he's done in the series. He has an awesome grip on where we're headed. He's put LeHay and Jenkins to shame imho, although his "Left Behind" ... (slight spoiler here...)
