The second part is less obvious : many believe that she wanted to be a “ hero “ by finding a fire...She claimed that she was just burning a letter from her estranged husband .
She lied about much of it at first...until the fire investigators caught her in her own lies. Then she “ confessed.”
Yes, I remember reading about it when it happened. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if it was intentional but that’s just about impossible to prove.
Total nutcase....and they simply want to let her walk free. I’m a Colorado taxpayer....and find this all silly. She will never be able to pay anyone back....and likely to just disappear to Alaska within a year....my humble opinion.
