Monica Crowley had a great radio show yesterday. I heard some of it.

During one segment she rasied a comment made by Mark Levin which I unfortunately missed, hope some of you heard it. Monica said that boma speaks real softly and handles white audiences with lots of care since they are easier to manage that way. Very revealing I thought.

Hope someone here heard Mark say that.

Perhaps the Levin Lounge Lizards would know? I remember saying back in the beginning of this campaign that Obama’s TV ads sounded way too black preacher to me and would turn off the typical white folks. (well, I didn't say "typical" but you get the point)

Judith A. Klinghofer cites a passage from Barack Obama’s first autobiography to remember when listening to his speech today:

On p. 94-95 he describes an effective tactic to deal with White people:

It was usually an effective tactic, another one of those tricks I had learned: People were satisfied so long as you were courteous and smiled and made no sudden moves. They were more than satisfied; they were relieved - such a pleasant surprise to find a well-mannered young black man who didn’t seem angry all the time.
