It really wasn’t all that spellbinding, either.

He of the many excuses, with the middle name we need not say, is in deep doo doo. Even the MSM can’t save him, he has suffered a fatal wound and neither he nor his worshippers realize it.

The MSM wants us to believe Obama has seen the light. There's just one nagging question: why didn't he see it for over twenty years?

Okay, I have been all over this forum today expressing my outrage at Obama and his “historic” speech on many different points. But one of the points that made me hopping mad was his veiled assertion that those of us who were a part of the Reagan revolution were racists!!! We need to hammer this home.
OBAMA ACCUSED ALL OF US THAT WERE A PART OF THE REAGAN REVOLUTION WERE/ARE RASCISTS!!!!!
Hey Barack, SCREW YOU and the RACIST preacher you rode in on!

He was either fully aware of the seething racial hatred that motivated Wright, or something of a blithering idiot who cant spot a racist hater when he spends years genuflecting at his feet. That is the crux of it -- Wright is a racist hater of America who is being defended by Obama for that anti-American rhetoric. Obama is a goner...

I think Obama accepted Wright's teachings at face values but shrewdly realized the racist baggage that came along with it would be fatal to a presidential bid. Until now he's been able to get away with it. No more.

There was a time when I thought an Obama presidency would be a replay of Jimmy Carter's reign and with equally disastrous results. I now understand that it would be considerably worse.

“I wont deny it was a masterful piece of oratory — the man can be spellbinding —”
Oh, horse$hit!
Why do even right-wing media elites feel they have to put this kind of praiseworthy qualifier on Obama everytime they mention his name?
Fear of the racism, knuckle-dragging, unsophisticated/non-inclusive tag from their leftist cocktail buddies I’d say.

I wont deny it was a masterful piece of oratory Okay, then I will.
I deny it was a masterful piece of oratory ... and those who think it was need to get out more.
Oh, he's quite good as a speaker. But there are hundreds of black American preachers and politicians who can give a better speech than Obama ... and maybe even a few white guys.
I'll say it ... Huckabee is a better speaker than Obama in my book.
Alan Keyes (at his best), for content, insight, and emotional impact, makes Obama look like a frat boy in Speech 101.
Romney's religion speech was more historic, more courageous, more consequential, and more listenable than Obama's tripe.
The Great Speech everyone is fawning over was banal, cowardly, and predictable. How this Obama-as-transcendent-figure nonsense ever took hold, I'll never know.
Okay, carry on.

did they even play it in its entirety on primetime? That's another thing ... he goes on and on and on and on ....
Someone should give him the advice I got as a young pastor ... stand up, speak up, sit down, shut up.

Why do even right-wing media elites feel they have to put this kind of praiseworthy qualifier on Obama everytime they mention his name? Because he sounds like Tom Brokaw instead of Rochester.

Because he sounds like Tom Brokaw instead of Rochester. You know, he does sound like Brokaw ... heh.
I might be sorry for askin' this, but ... who is Rochester?
