I agree that we need to get more conservatives in the Senate and the house.

I do have a problem right now though with not voting for McCain even though I don’t like him.

We have Democrat majority in both Senate and House right now.
(Our attempt to “teach Republicans a lesson” for the earlier votes, didn’t work.)
To whom would we be able to put pressure on IF Hillary or Obama get into office?

The biggest complaint I have had with President Bush (I like him in most cases.) is his softness on Immigration. BUT we have been able to dissuade him from doing something in favor
Mexican illegals.
Then there are the vetoes President Bush has done that has stopped Dems from screwing us.
With the decision to not vote and Clinton or Obama get into office, how will we stop stupid stuff from getting through?

Do you have a way? or a suggestion to keep us from losing everything?

The best we can hope for over the next four years (unless you want Mexican country, which we cannot ever undo) is gridlock and chaos. I just think with McCain we have no chance of any backbone in the Senate. We may not have backbone in the Senate either way. It is a roll of the dice, I admit, but McCain is snake-eyes.
