wairz Tifton?

Tifton, Georgia is the home of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, so the inventor is probably on faculty there. ABAC has developed many of the turf grasses used on athletic fields over the past few decades. Let's hope it's true.

Actually, the USDA-ARS developed the grasses, the University of Georgia got much of the credit for them, and ABAC (right across the street from the UGA Tifton campus) has a great turfgrass teaching program. Great teamwork all the way around.

J.C. Bell is a local entrepreneur not affiliated with any of the 3 institutions.

I hope Mr. Bell packs heat. He’s liable to wind up back in the carbon cycle himself if he can put the Saudis out of the oil biz.
