This topic came up a year or so ago when someone said to me “it’s no different than dog shows here”. I said “yes it is because there is a difference between beauty and appearance. Appearance being a category in a contest is not the same as beauty. There are plenty of men out there that have a nice appearance who are not beautiful. Beauty is feminine.”
