One wonders if this government employee did therefore advance her career and that state money was spent on the affairs.
Note the hotel, too.

One could make a case that what Dr. King meant when he wanted a color blond [sic] America was an America where philanderers of any color, visual acuity, etc., would not be elected to high office.Actually, Paterson was only technically elected to the position of lieutenant governor, since in NY, the lieutenant governor runs in tandem with the governor on one indivisible ticket - analagous to vice presidential candidates running together with their respective presidential running mates. So voters for Spitzer were automatically voting for Paterson as well, which is a major reason why Paterson was underscrutinized.
BTW, as you probably know, it's been well documented (albeit by sleazy means) that Dr. King himself was a philanderer.

That’s how they get ahead in politics-—on their backs.
Course Moanica Lewinsky got a great job on her knees.

Do we really expect New York Democrats to find elected officials who are not into adultery?

Something in the water??Actually the Hudson River was contaminated with PCB's for years. Maybe it's cleaned up now but there are still residual effects. Might be the cause of all those NY randy politicians.
Somewhat off topic, I wonder if Mr. and Mrs. Spitzer are talking to each other at the breakfast table these days.

It’s really tough when a cross dresser is better looking than most democrat women. Sigh.
