He has always been an empty suit who has a special talent for speechifying. He came to MD to campaign for the white Democrat running for senator against the black Republican. He went to the largley black communities around DC and made it sound so logical why the black R candidate was unacceptable, and the white Jewish career pol was the correct choice.
