He disagreed but wouldn’t throw Wright under the bus.

ANyone who grew up in the south understands exactly what his posture is. I grew up with parents who were openly segregationists, who said the most awful things about blacks. who condoned all the racism in the south to the day they died.

But they were good parents and were good to me, supported me, fed me, educated me and were moral in all other ways.

This is what he is describing. I understand it perfectly. I would no more have thrown them under the bus but I disagreed profoundly with them.

THis is what Obama is saying,,he loves and respecrts Wright who is more than the youtubes to him.

But Wright isn’t his parents. Wright is someone Obama found a spiritual, philosophical kinship with. Obama is a racist. He embraces racism and division. He wants to be POTUS to exact his revenge on “the man”...

You are talking about your parents - Obama stuck with a racist, communist-leaning, America-hating pastor. Wright wasn’t merely loving Obama like a dad and taking care of him, he was leading and heavily influencing the views and actions of thousands of followers. Would you have supported your parents leading Klan rallies? I don’t think so.

But they are your parents. Did you choose to associate with non family members who were racist? For 20 years?

I understand what you are saying - you are describing my mother.

That does not make it right, in this day and age of terrorism. I think he has lost the support of most dims - just not the most liberal ones.

LOL, good grief.

Do your parents have a pulpit preaching racist, anti-American, pro communism, and agitating hate and violence to yours and others children everyday??? For the last 30 years?

Are your parents running for the Presidency of the United States?

Pass the smelling salts, your rationalization of a racist and anti-American, like Hussein, his pastor and church, is not credible.

I grew up in New England, and have parents quite the same as yours. They, till this day, are extremely prejudiced, but will not use that word to describe themselves. They were appalled and in disbelief that I would ever consider voting for a black person for president. It made my skin crawl. I will not vote for the senator because of political views—it has nothing to do with the color of his skin.
