First, I think it was pretty clear from his posting history that he was not going to respond.
Second, he was engaged on three different threads at the same time by what has to be over a hundred Freepers, and he had responded a single time. His one response was to tell us that some stupid smack talk about the President in a thread on national disasters was “what God says.” Such an individual was not going to have an intellectual conversation about the morality of nuclear weapons deployment.
Third, since NotChosenName claimed to be a conservative bigwig from way back, it is damaging to the conservative cause for the foremost conservative web forum to be treatiing his rantings as even marginally acceptable.
Fourth, when someone comes here and apologizes for people who have murdered Freepers, I think we shouldn’t give a crap what they have to say. If my brother or friend was murdered and someone stopped by to tell me how badly they deserved it, I wouldn’t be inviting the gent in for a coffee klatch.
