Obama camp: No, Newsmax, he wasn’t there for the sermon on July 22

An (almost) airtight alibi, refuting the charge that he was present in church and nodding along last summer when Wright indicted the United States of White America. So much for Newsmaxs credibility. People were ripping on me in the comments to the Juan Williams post for having called the Messiah a shrewd politician but just look at the game hes got us playing here trying to place him physically at the scene of any single sermon at a church he patronized for 20 years, as if absent that evidence we might have to believe his feigned ignorance. Newsmaxs info was bogus? Well, maybe he really didnt know after all!
Actually, I like this explanation better. Wait for it. About halfway through.

The church website says it has 3 services, 7:30, 11 am and 6 pm...plenty of time to go to early service and get to Miami for 1:30.

What, attending a service and watching Osama nod his head in agreement with the ranting isn't evidence? The author is a WITNESS to Osama's presence. If witness testimony has been good enough for the court systems of numerous nations for thousands of years, it's evidence.
What do you think of this?

Obama isn’t even a reliable attendee to the church. He probably goes like 7 times a year, like most major politicians. He even said he doesn’t go there that much.
I would be honestly shocked if he would show up on a day he had something as taxing as flying to Florida for a speech on his schedule. You are either resting or preparing for that speech on that Sunday if you are normal person. It would be too exhausting to do otherwise.
Newsmax better have some photographic or other evidence.

Other than that, I can't explain it further because of the importance of keeping Mod decisions a complete mystery to you mortals.Ha ha. It must have been the YouTube video that got this into 'breaking.' The mod's must be fans of Red State Update and want to make sure others see their work. :O)

Freeper "Philo1962" said he is the author of the article and saw Obama there. I've pinged him and am waiting for his response.

Is the story true or false?FReeper Philo1962 wrote the article and attended the service, and he says Obama and Wright were at the service. Obama's camp has come out and called him a liar.
Given Obama's track record with the truth, I believe Philo. Rev. Wright is sinking the Obama campaign like an anvil... they have every reason in the world to lie right now.

Barack spoke that Sunday to a La Raza rally in Miami Oh, that is perfect.
So his aliby is that, no he wasn't listening to one black racist preacher, but instead he was addressing a whole crowd of militantly racist latino separatists.
Frying pan, meet fire.

Ouch!I was just surprised. Usually if I post something without putting it in breaking it either never makes it to breaking or it appears there hours later, not within 60-120 seconds later. Just kind of shocked that it moved there that quickly, that's all.

The "I was not there for that sermon" sounds very much like "I didn't inhale".
In other words, pathetic.

yeah but the issue is the credibility of newsmax. You don’t want Obama to get off on a technicality. He is a lawyer, remember.
