To: Laissez-faire capitalist

I could be and hope I’m wrong, but I doubt if this will have any traction with the sheeple. A statement from Oprah, Nancy Pelosi, or whomever that it’s those mean ‘pubbies that are making all of this up will be sufficient.

Some Oregon labor union group just endorsed Obama this weekend, after all of this was breaking.

That said, if Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama continue knee-capping one another, perhaps McCain will win. I also have hopes that it might affect the undecided/non-affiliated folks who are less likely to vote for Hillary.

The fact that even the drive-bys are having to cover this now says a lot---that it DOES have great resonance. As a poster above noted, Obama's "street cred" with white people was that he was, as the LA Times called him, the "magic Negro," someone who wasn't threatening to whites as a radical white-hater. He was the non-Jesse Jackson.

Or so it appeared. Now this makes him look like just another slick Al Sharpton. It won't sit well in white America.
