Simply put, Obama’s a fraud.

I think his campaign has seriously underestimated the effect of the Wright tapes on the average American voter (again, the problem is not just the transcript, but the delivery, most notably its fury and coarseness)You can't unring the bell, Obamalamadingdong.
Between your wife and your pastor, and the blacks coming out in defense of the pastor, Obama's campaign has taken the lid off of what blacks really think of all whites and this country. We've seen the hatred and rage, and it's not pretty.
Most people do not want Black Panthers who despise this country and the majority of its people in the White House.

Sounds like the Revrend himself cherry picked these to put on his website. Must have thought they were his best efforts.

I wonder how much more can come out on Obama when, and if, he gets the nomination.
Comments anyone?

"It's a congregation that does not merely preach social justice but acts it out each day, through ministries ranging from housing the homeless to reaching out to those with HIV/AIDS." ...A real mystery arises from the inconsistency in this picture of the do-gooder and good-doer Rev Wright and the anti-American and racist demogogue Rev Wright - if he really believed the hate-filled sentiments expressed in the public tapes, it's preposterous to think that Obama wouldn't have detected this side of the Rev in the sort of close relationship they had - if he didn't believe them, then he's a fraud spreading hatred and divisiveness for his own aggrandizement - either way Obama should have put a lot of distance between the two of them long ago.......

One who spews such hate doesn't realize how depraved it is...He spews, his congregation cheers - it's gotta be great.

Simply put, Obamas a fraud. Dittos! He was a fraud when he cashiered his membership in Rev. Wright's Church of What's Happenin Now for a ticket to the Illinois Senate. Now his dilemma is throw the Rev overboard and with it the votes of the loopy idiots who believe that Wright $hit. Or stick with his current strategery of alienating everybody else in the free world.

Already heard about the Weatherman connection, there’s more to that tale.

Would most people vote for a politician who held the same views of Rev. Wright? Probably not. The problem is that now we we have to wonder if Obama did hold those same views. I suspect he does.

BO (middle initial omitted) was a member of the church for 20 years and failed to notice his pastor’s extreme political views. I hope he never answers the 3 a.m. phone.

And the problem is not judging Sen. Obama on the basis of what someone else said, but on the basis of his own generous subsidies to someone who spewed forth not mere speech, but hate speech. You have to admit that, in the case of a major Presidential candidate of the last half a century, that certainly is CHANGE.

Without sounding dramatic, I think his campaign has seriously underestimated the effect of the Wright tapes on the average American voter. Maybe but the Obama people are trying to make talk radio the "issue."
I can see the Obama people (i.e., the Democratic Party of all races) stirring the masses to rioting and the MSM, universities -- the world -- spewing calumnies against white Americans. A move to "restore fairness" to follow. Will McCain be for that kind of "fairness?"
Will that kind of fairness be "restored" or . . . .

I agree. I worry about riots and innner cities burning. Sad state of affairs. Obama is not the man to unite the races or be the post-racial candidate. Not gonna happen that way.

..."I believe that Americans will judge me not on the basis of what someone else said, but on the basis of who I am and what I believe in; on my values, judgment and experience to be President of the United States.... Mr. Obama, you belong to a 'church' who in their 'About Us' statement mentions Africa/African/'Native Land' 5 times, Black 4 times, Words related to racism (e.g., slavery, injustice, segregation) 4 times, God 3 times, ... Jesus Zero times.
Nice focus for a 'church'...
God's the judge of your heart.
I judge you unfit to lead anyone in this Country based on who you are, what you believe in, your values, your judgment, and your (in)experience.
If you really want to become someone of substance with respect to what you believe, your values, your judgment -- set aside your run this year and go open a Bible. Read It. Learn It. Love It. Live It.
Until then - you are just another charlatan who has leeched onto a church to claim the name of Christ. Don't do it if you don't mean it. But please become someone who can do it because you do mean it (but be prepared to set aside some long cherished beliefs in infanticide and the celebration of homosexuality).
