Barack Obama didn’t make it home for Christmas this year. He passed up golfing in Hawaii and visiting his grandmother, Madelyn Duncan. For the first time in years, he was too busy to make the trip. His business took him, of course, to chilly, windblown Iowa, where on Jan. 3, Democrats will hold the first presidential caucus of election year 2008.
So Obama’s family gathered around him instead in his home in Chicago. Sister Maya SoetoroNg, her daughter Suhaila, and husband Konrad were there, as Maya has been for the past six weeks - six weeks during which she’s ventured forth each day to campaign for her brother around the country.
So too were sister Auma and her daughter Akinyi. Auma is Obama’s father’s daughter by his first marriage in Kenya.
And of course wife Michelle and their daughters Sasha and Malia. The family had begun to arrive in Chicago over the weekend. Obama himself was the last to arrive, on Christmas Eve, having squeezed in campaigning until the last moment before the holiday.

The entertainment value I'd enjoy would be if Mrs. Clinton won the election, we'd stand a good chance of getting a real-life enactment of the closing scene of the 'Godfather 1' movie where 'old scores' were settled. I'd think Teddy the Swimmer, Jean-Claude Kerri', and Ms. Stretch Pelosi would be amongst the bloodied...

I don’t know what kind of Christian Obambi may consider himself to be, but all varieties of Christian I know go to services, mass, etc. on Christmas Day (or midnight mass on Christmas eve). It seems most highly likely that Obambi was listening to Pastor Wright for 2007 Christmas services.
So here is what I see playing out.
They go into the convention in a virtual tie. The Supers see that “PastorGate” makes Obama unelectable and they throw it to Hillary. The black community goes crazy along with the young skulls of mush that are in Obama’s corner and they stay home in Nov. Meanwhile, the McCain fence sitters FREAK out at the prospect of Hillary and Bill being in the WH again and they come out in droves for McCain, like him or not. McCain sails to an easy victory. That's how I see it.
PS. If Obama sees this thing starting to slip away they will press the Presidential Library donor thing as well. Now THAT would be fun to watch!!!!!

I'm sorry, but you have it exactly backwards.
Take any random group of people, and I can almost guarantee you that the majority of people will express a dislike of Hillary Clinton. People simply don't like her, for whatever reason, and that statistic will carry over into the general election.
Hillary never was, or will be, a viable candidate.
Don't confuse what is going on now in the primaries, with the general election. They're two different animals. Obama, on the hand, has organized a movement, rather than a campaign, and that is much harder to deal with. Obama is riding a perfect storm, and he knows it....and by perfect storm, I mean all the psychological/sociological dynamics that are at play here.

I think you are totally incorrect on Muslims not wearing gold. My brother-in-law is a Muslim in name only, but he wears gold along with his uncle who is Muslim. They are both married to American wives. Their children go to public or private (not Arabic) schools.
I have earrings and rings from India, 22 carat to boot. When he visits his parents and aunts and uncles in New Delhi, he brings back presents to us. Just as he brings presents to his family in India from the U.S.
Maybe you are thinking of Hindus as opposed to Muslims.
