So, what is Ann trying to say here? Silda's parents were antisemitic? Or, is it that Coulter is?

Why does every generalization automatically have to be racist, sexist, or antisemitic?

A Southern Baptist's parents would probably be just as nonplussed at having their daughter marry a Jewish man as a Jewish man's parents would be at their son marrying a Southern Baptist woman.

Its not hateful to assume that. In my experience, parents generally would prefer, all other things being equal, that their children marry someone of the same religion. Its just a common generalization, nothing more.

I'm just wonder what conection Spitzer's wife's parents' religion had to do with Ann's take on This sullied state of affairs. Why mention it at all?
