Just imagine if a Republican’s pastor was saying such inflammatory things.

Add in Obama’s wife’s comments and it really raises some troubling questions. What does Obama think of this country?

If the pastor were making comments about, say, gays or Muslims, would his reaction be the same? I doubt it - he’d be much more outraged.

So why should his own country be a more suitable target . . . unless Obama sympathizes with the pastor’s statements?

There's a big difference that Obama is glossing over. We don't CHOOSE our eccentric uncles, but Obama chose Reverend Wright as his spiritual leader out of all the possible pastors in Chicago. Now if a spiritual leader, unlike an eccentric uncle, continues to make obnoxious comments year after year, does that not reflect poorly on his qualifications as a spiritual leader, and on Obama's judgment in retaining Reverend Wright in that capacity?
