But you know they all do it...they all come out and stand with their man. Remember the NJ Governor McGreevy? His wife stood by his side and he was having queer sex! I don’t know why though I made a guess that you ain’t buying.

My guess would be that when you are married to a powerful man, and live a privileged life such as politicians do unfortunately, it is addicting. Not just monetary but the celeb factor.
And maybe it's instinctive for political wives to stand in public with a man who is in trouble.
If a wife stays with him ultimately is her own business.
But, the PUBLIC appearance has got to end, it sets a really bad example in my view.
