Pennsylvania 'absolutely critical' for Clinton campaign, aide says By Salena Zito and David M. Brown TRIBUNE-REVIEW Saturday, March 8, 2008
Winning the Pennsylvania primary on April 22 is "absolutely critical" to Hillary Clinton's hope of overtaking Barack Obama in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination, a top Clinton aide said Friday.
Clinton will visit Pennsylvania on Monday and Tuesday, with campaign stops in Scranton, Harrisburg and Philadelphia. Former President Bill Clinton will be stumping for his wife on Tuesday in Pittsburgh, but the campaign did not immediately provide details about that visit.
Asked whether Clinton must win Pennsylvania to remain viable, Howard Wolfson, her communications director, said the campaign avoids "making blanket statements" about specific states.

The article’s title means the Clinton’s know they have PA in the bag.
Eddie will delivered it her with help from a few of his deceased pals.
they can’t, closed primary. unless they swtich before March 24th.
With Fast Eddie Rendell in charge, is there any doubt she will be the winner?
I’m sure Philly can improve on the 110% voter turnout they had in 2004.
Hey it is only March 8, plenty of time to muddy old Hillary's waters.
"There is Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Alabama in between."
Not reported anywhere in the media:
Hillary's camp was denied 3 places for her visit to Harrisburg Monday and Tuesday. Fast Eddie put the pressure on Harrisburg Mayor Reid to find a place and got the city's Forum Building.
How does one get tickets for these events?
The Philly homeless are ready for multiple votes and a great breakfast lunch and dinner on Fast Eddie and Congressman Brady. The bus cavalcades will be out and about all day. It is going to be fun to watch the poll disputes and they won’t be able to blame Republicans for their miscounts and disenfranchisement. Any bets on Union intimidation? This is going to be fun, get the beer and popcorn ready.
Fast Eddie just has a way about him, does he not?
Thanks for the info.
I miss Rick Santorum.

Well, except for Hillary’s ‘blanket statements’ about Ohio and Mississippi.

Nothing like a good old fashioned Philadelphia 150% turnout to lift the spirits.
.
carville has been saying that for years, every since he ran Bob Casey Sr.’s gov campaign. to me what is more acurate is that PA is philly and her northern collar counties to the east, and the rest of the state is the mid-west.
Carville and Mary are coming here for a “he said, she said” session. They want $100 to get in. Forget it.
Hillary still needs our support. If she goes into Denver with more than a 150 delegate deficit, there is no way the SD's will back her. We need to get it down just under 100. Then when she steals it, we will have 1968 Redux.
Obama should pour every dollar into PA.
Repsectfully dissagree. Obama will be easier to beat in the general. We all know the Clintons...they will win the general by hook or crook. But should she lose the nom to Obama we can expect them to destroy Obama. They will stop at nothing.
