Pennsylvania 'absolutely critical' for Clinton campaign, aide says By Salena Zito and David M. Brown TRIBUNE-REVIEW Saturday, March 8, 2008
Winning the Pennsylvania primary on April 22 is "absolutely critical" to Hillary Clinton's hope of overtaking Barack Obama in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination, a top Clinton aide said Friday.
Clinton will visit Pennsylvania on Monday and Tuesday, with campaign stops in Scranton, Harrisburg and Philadelphia. Former President Bill Clinton will be stumping for his wife on Tuesday in Pittsburgh, but the campaign did not immediately provide details about that visit.
Asked whether Clinton must win Pennsylvania to remain viable, Howard Wolfson, her communications director, said the campaign avoids "making blanket statements" about specific states.

Why be any different than Hillary?
I changed parties last month, just so I can vote against the bitch.
There are a lot of side benefits to being a demonRAT, when I registered, I received a $100 in food stamps, a 6 pack of Colt 45, a carton of Kools and three voter registration cards {along with fake {but accurate} ID cards.
I never knew being a demonRAT could be so much fun.
Now, if either the bitch or flop ears win in the fall, I get a 60 inch plasma TV, a Cadillac, and some {yet to be named pubbie} has to pay my taxes.
In the words of the "Flounder" from Animal House, "This is great".
C'mon Salena, you know better than that. i'll believe that Western PA is the 'mid west' when a real Republican gets elected mayor of Pittsburgh.
The 'majour competition' for your paper in Pittsburgh endourses every Democrat (except Cyril Wecht) in every election...and they win.
i know you worked hard for Santorum, but "Rooster" (he went to my high school, a couple of years behind me) beat himself. All he had to do is point out that Casey is an empty suit running on his daddy's name and reputation. He also should have told the Democrats and their media synchopants to p!$$ off and die when the nonsense about his children's school attendance came up. He would have been looked at as a hero in Western PA.
I’m registered in PA but as an independent.
Does anyone know if I can vote in the Primary and for whom?
If registered independent, no, you cannot vote in the PA primary election.
If registered to some third party (i'm a registered Libertarian), you can only vote for candidates within your own party...presuming they are on the ballot, or that there is a ballot for those parties.
All Clinton needs to get is about 40 to 50% of the delegates to drag this out.
Hillary needs to win PA just to keep it close.
What about Michigan and Florida? If they get to vote again won't she take these two?
Hee. That was my exact thought. With only very rare exceptions, the Clintons never raise expectations without being sure of the outcome.
You have to re-register as a party member by March 24.
ROFL...How much you payin’ for a doctor now?
bttt
Salena, I sent you and David an email. Come on, don’t be shy about grilling Rendell. Would you like to speak with Peter Paul?
