Hillary Clinton says the Democratic Party is stuck in a very tough spot as party leaders debate whetherand howto seat delegates from Florida and Michigan at the nominating convention this August. And Clinton's latest comments, in an interview with U.S. News yesterday, won't make resolving the fuss any easier.
Many Democrats want a revote in both states, since the Democratic National Committee disqualified all their delegates because the states' primaries were held too early in violation of party rules. Some party officials are suggesting caucuses as an option to get the delegates qualifiedbut that doesn't pass muster with Clinton. "I would not accept a caucus," she told us. "I think that would be a great disservice to the 2 million people who turned out and voted. I think that they want their votes counted."
Florida held its primary January 29 and Michigan January 15. Clinton won both, although Obama's name wasn't on the ballot in Michigan and both candidates agreed not to campaign in either state, in deference to party rules.

What will happen to Edwards, and the other candidates who were still on the ballot? when these prmaries were held.. their voices should be heard as well as just Mrs Clinton, wife of impeached ex president and obamas..
Ding Ding Ding..... Edwards should be allowed to campaign in both states and he should get matching funds to whatever Hillary and Obama spend. By the DNC of course.”
Ok, let’s play some more. What if Edwards wins a LOT more delagates, or actually wins, in a do over (after actually campaigning)? Could be a nightmare for them.
Don’t fool yourself, she’ll be the nominee and she will win. Voter fraud will be at a its highest level ever. Black voters will forgive her and illegals will be bussed to the polls. Why the hell Texas didn’t take her out is beyond me. Too cute by half. I’m so damn angry I’m spitting nails.
Just substitute The Constitution for The Democrat primary rules and the reaction to something in it they dont like and you get the Gist of the democrat style of running the Government.
This is where you get abortion as a right ,separation of church and state ,affirmative action,Multiculturism ,you get the Idea
How absolutely delicious.
We have Hillary saying “NO!” to Michigan and Florida do-overs.
Al Sharpton on Letterman saying the Blacks walk away from the democrats if they don’t seat Obama as the nominee.
And, Obama’s national security advisor saying Obama is “foolish” and “naive” for not supporting the FISA bill currently bottled up in the Senate because failure to pass FISA will expose America to terrorist threats.
Popcorn anyone?
My understanding is that Michigan didn’t even have Obama on the ballot as he knew votes wouldn’t count for a primary that early. So only Clinton’s name was on the ballot.
Sounds like a counter suit for Obama and his followers, then.
Jeb is no longer Governor of Florida.
She is bent on being president by hook or crook. She could care less that in the process she is destroying her own party. I have been reading about all kinds of possible fraud in the elections. Funny how no black people in Harlem voted for Hillary, and now I hear they are calling some of the voters in Texas to see if they wrote Hillarys name in.
They had three people who said No, Hillary was not their choice.
They saw an opportunity here; and it did not show up in the manner they expected.
Obama DESTROYS her in Caucuses!! Hillary will be our next President because she will NEVER let a BLACK GUY BEAT HER!!
EXCELLENT!!
I think her short range objective is twofold:
1 - Keep Obama from getting an outright winning majority of delegates, preventing a first ballot victory at the convention.
2 - Win enough states, popular vote and delegates herself to keep it close and keep it from appearing as an Obama runaway blowout before the convention.
Once she gets to the convention her objective will be to stop an Obama victory on the first ballot. Then she will use various ploys (like the Florida/Michigan controversy and the "I won the big states" argument) and back room arm twisting to move delegates to her side.
This is where the purloined FBI files will pay off.
The delegate count from Florida and Michigan is:
Hillary: Florida (105) Michigan (73) TOTAL (179)
Obama: Florida (67) Michigan - (0) TOTAL (67)
Edwards: Florida - (13) Michigan (0) Total (13)
Uncommitted: Michigan (55)
And don't forget that John Edwards still has 26 undisputed delegates from Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina that he can release or hold on to until after the first ballot.
Hillary doesn't have to get delegates to actually buy into her reasoning as to why she should get the Florida & Michigan delegates as long as she can convince them it gives them a semi plausible justification to back her.
Sowing confusion and disagreement and arguing against acceptance of definitive do-over elections in Florida and Michigan are important elements in her strategy.
.
Amen, Christopher Hitchens!! They are UNSTOPPABLE, they will do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to win.

I think there should be a re-vote in Florida and Michigan, but it should be scheduled for after the convention. Better yet, it should be scheduled for after the general election. ;') Or after the Supreme Court rules in favor of McCain after the DNC whiners and other racists who won't accept Obama's defeat take the results to the highest in the land.
And all that dirt was available during the Clinton presidency. And the MSM made sure it never saw the light of day
The Clintons are the truly dangerous side. Her campaign needs to have a stake driven through its heart while we can
Where you have to openly proclaim who has your vote, in front of people who may know you, where there is the ability to intimidate people. It's different in the general election
