Republican presidential nominee John McCain said Friday that Georgia will be a competitive state in the race for the presidency and he vowed to return and fight for every vote.....

Has this guy got ties to Mexico?
Amnesty is THE killer issue. Amnesty gets us a permanent Democrat majority and relegation of the Republican party to local status, able to elect occasional county commissioners and school board members.
“guest workers” means anchor babies and permanent status for parents and chain immigration.
That is his code for amnesty
Living in Texas, it’s an issue I live with every single day of the year. Hopefully I’m wrong, but I think if we lose this issue, we lose the country.
but not for thee.
For you my contempt and contumely.
For guest workers' document fraud, amnesty
and Social Security.
For US citizens' document fraud, the penitentiary.
John McCain, Senator
and the loss of 62,000 jobs in February.
I believe there are EIGHT guest worker programs.
“I think it was a very reasonable position to take.”
If you are to take him at his word - yes. After all, this is the same guy who said that his amnesty bill “was definitely NOT amnesty.”
Let us see if he’ll hold good to his promise or will pull a Chertoff instead.
>>You are kidding yourself here.<<
Who is kidding whom? You think McCain would veto an amnesty bill like the one he was so determined to push last year?
>> Demrats; more than any Party; need these people to guarantee their future. They will make them citizens in ninety-days. . .or less.<<
And so you might ask yourself why McCain is pushing amnesty.
>>They arent but they are the large majority and the ones most vocal about it. What other illegal immigrants march around our streets about it?<<
I used to hear “Mi casa es su casa” (make yourself at home in my house). Now it’s like “Su casa es mi casa.”
Immigration Hes not just pro-open borders, hes Senor Amnesty co-sponsor of McCain-Kennedy, which would have legalized 15 million illegal aliens, allowed them to bring in tens of millions of their mooching relatives (including the elderly and infirm), given them credit for past Social Security contributions, etc. The Heritage Foundations Robert Rector said McCain-Kennedy would have constituted the largest expansion of the welfare state in U.S. history (at an estimated cost of $2.6 trillion). A Republican who served with McNasty in the Senate said he was forever haranguing his GOP colleagues about being perceived as xenophobes for not supporting amnesty. At CPAC, he told conservatives hes heard us. Hell secure the borders first, then push amnesty which, of course, will negate anything he does at the border. Build it (a suicidal welfare state that embraces alien intruders), and a fence wont keep them out.
None of the Above 2008!
McCain wants amnesty, which will destroy this country. He has not renounced McCain-Kennedy or the 2006 Senate amnesty bill [S 2611] that passed the Senate. McCain was the architect of both bills. McCain’s “reasonable position” will with a stroke of a pen end this country as we know it. And it is irrevocable.
Only way McLame can be derailed from the Republican nomination is due to heart attack or some mental or physical disability.
I hate having to suppoert this p.o.s.
but even he is better than obamma lamma ding dong or the killer beast.
Even if he doesn't, the libs will. They will turn it into another "civil rights struggle" and they will not give up until every last Mexican national is a dual citizen.
Once they're all here legally, it's all over.
We already tried this once with "cheap" West African slaves. It ended very badly.
If American business really need cheap labor, we've got millions of bums on welfare and we've got costly regulations to repeal. There is NO reason this work can't be done by Americans.
>>the dems will abandon the AgJobs compromise and the McCain-Kennedy compromise.<<
“Compromise?” More like “surrender.”
>>The dems will be pushing for more permanent visas and fewer temporary visas.<<
Do you think “temporary” visas are really temporary? Did you notice that “our” government has never implemented the U.S. VISIT Exit System? BTW no provision for the U.S. VISIT Exit System was in McCain’s amnesty bill last year.
