The Grand Canyon

One of the most awe inspiring sights on the planet.

Anyone who has not seen this thing of unimaginable beauty should make it a goal to see it before they die.

It is well worth the time and money.

I second your thought. Finally saw it from ground level a few years ago. Well worth the trip.

Yes indeed. Used to live in Arizona and enjoyed going there. Of course that was so long ago that it was called “The Fairly Large Canyon”.
Try going on Google Earth and take a tour. Interesting.

I agree. I’ve seen it about 10 times. On each occasion the experience was just as beautiful as the first.

Regrettably, it seems to be aging much more gracefully than I.

Just saw the Canyon two weeks ago. It’s definitely a “you had to be there” thing. No picture can do it justice.

And who’s to say that God didn’t start it 17 million years ago? Great art takes time!

Amen. It is my favorite place on earth, not just a glorious sight but a palpable presence like none other. Way beyond beautiful.

My only concern now is to be able to view it without having to see that jutting out walking about thingie. That is a travesty and sacrilege.
