"In Ohio, they are obsessed and Hillary is going to town on it, because she knows Ohio's the only place they can win," Power is quoted as saying. "She is a monster, too that is off the record she is stooping to anything." Power issued a statement Friday in which she acknowledged the comments but said she "deeply regretted them."
"It is wrong for anyone to pursue this campaign in such negative and personal terms," she said in the statement. "I apologize to Senator Clinton and to Senator Obama, who has made very clear that these kinds of expressions should have no place in American politics."
Context, just in case anyone like me had no clue what was going on.
Someone pass me the popcorn, these next six weeks are going to be delicious.

Power has the right thread on this. If the Obama campaign retreats it is dead because if they get to the convention and the Clintons can win by Super delegates alone then they will do anything to do it. The Clinton’s can not afford to really have people and Democrats remember the worst of the Clinton years.

I don’t know what the big deal is....she IS a monster....and from what I’ve heard her husband has called her much worse. Is this any worse than calling her Secret Service detail “trained pigs”? I don’t think sooooo.
Of course Hillary has to try to milk this for as much sympathy and as many votes as she can. She really is a monster.

Put some ice on it Howard. All Samantha Power did was say out loud what everyone else is thinking, including yourself, but are afraid to say so.
Who gave Hillary immunity from criticism?

Power should retire when Bubba does for his nasty SC comments.
Everytime Wolfson show his puss in public he should be asked to produce the tax returns.

Golly gee, leftists are always babbling on about “speak truth to power” — but let anyone speak a little TRUTH about the Hildebeast and the Clintonistas go into melt-down mode.
They really can’t bear to allow any candor about Shrillary.....

"Were here today to ask Senator Obama to ask Samantha Power not to be part of his campaign," said Rep. Nita Lowey of New York, responding to the remark by Power -- a foreign policy adviser to Obama and expert on international human rights. "Its really a test for Obama, a test of character," she said. /i>And if Obama has any character, he'll KEEP Powers. ;-D
