“What about a non-credentialed private school teacher?”
EXCATLY!! I figure they are endangered as well. Both private schools and homeschools use the same law in California. I seem to remember in the ‘80’s that there had been an effort to make ALL teachers to get credentials, homeschool and private. It failed. I guess that they want to try again.

I teach at an ACCREDITED private Christian school.
Few of our teachers are certified.
But, we have engineers teaching math, and people with advanced degrees in their field teaching many subject.
(IMAGINE! Somebody with an advanced degree IN THEIR FIELD rather than IN “EDUCRATION” teaching-——the public schools would faint.)
A lot of California's PUBLIC SCHOOL teachers are operating under "temporary emergency certification" as are a number of administrators. Anyone with a pulse can get one of those.
An idea to beat the ruling with perchance?
