Maybe, but I’ve seen mortors blow up (I was artillery for years, including Iraq) and I just don’t think those rounds have that much punch.

The caveat to that is he was sitting on/next to more rounds, so it could be a simultaneous secondary explosion.

I got this on an E mail from a friend a few days ago and his had a note on it that said that US has the ability to trace where the mortar fire is coming from in about three shots and then they follow the trajectory back to its source with our firepower. I believe our side took sent this guy to his virgins.
