Thanks for this post, Red. I believe Col. Folsom’s ruling has a reasonable chance of being overturned on appeal. The undue command influence by Murtha is real and it’s something I believe the higher ups want to just go away.
Murtha is a fat, corrupt lout, but he is retired from the Corps. Thus, as far as I know, he is no longer subject to the UCMJ, which is a requirement for showing undue command influence.
