For pity’s sake, Kerry came within one state of beating a well supported incumbent who ran in the primary unopposed, who raised huge amounts of money, and who was running during a period of both open warfare and unparalleled prosperity.

...and who was hated more than Satan. Sorry but the problems that are hitting us at the economic level are not going to be solved by taking more money away. Not to mention that Gas at $4 a gallon is not going to make the party of Enviormentalists look very good. Bush aint running, so theres nothing to run against! Its a clean slate where all of them suck evenly! McCains problem is that he has pissed off the hard core base! Problem is Clinton is more paranoia base! Bill BTW was someone elected who never even got 50% of the vote and it took Perot to sway that. Bill had charisma. Hillary doesn't. More people just hate her because of her last name than anything else. She won't win. Obama on the other hand against McCain could very easily do it. Never underestimate an empty suit!

...and who was hated more than Satan. Sorry

What have you been drinking? Send me some of that.

Bush was hated by the LIBERALS. Not ONE of which are going to vote for McCain.
He was VERY well regarded by conservatives at the time and had a united party behind him.

McCain, your “clean slate” notwithstanding, has none of that and he is going to lose.

He is going to lose against Obama, or Hillary, or Durbin, or Kennedy, or Kerry himself.

McCain is going to lose, because to prevail against the anyone but the GOP mentality, we would need broken glass activists and 110% support.

Again, McCain has none of that for one reason.

He deserves none of it.
